This Privacy Policy explains how Styld ("Styld", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the website styld.appand the Styld application (together, the "Service"). Styld is an AI-powered wardrobe and styling app. The operator of the Service is the data controller for the purposes of the EU/UK GDPR.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address, and any name or preferences you provide.
• Content you upload — photos of yourself and your clothing, wardrobe items, outfits, and related notes you add to organize your closet or run features such as virtual try-on and outfit check.
• Usage & device data — how you interact with the Service, along with standard technical data (IP address, browser/device type) collected via logs and cookies.
• Payment data — subscriptions are processed by our payment provider; we receive confirmation and status, not your full card details.

How we use your information

• To provide and personalize the Service — organizing your wardrobe and generating styling suggestions, try-on previews, and outfit feedback.
• To operate accounts, process subscriptions, and provide support.
• To secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To communicate with you about the Service.

AI processing

To provide styling features, images and text you submit are processed by third-party AI providers (including Google's Gemini models) on our behalf to generate analysis, previews, and recommendations. AI output is generated for inspiration and is not professional advice.

Service providers & third parties

We share data with providers who process it on our behalf, under appropriate safeguards:

• AI processing — Google (Gemini) for image and text generation.
• Payments — our payment provider (Dodo Payments) for subscription billing.
• Affiliate networks— when you click a shop link, we may pass a non-identifying click reference to affiliate networks (including Adtraction) so a resulting purchase can be attributed to Styld. See "Cookies & affiliate tracking" below.
• Hosting, storage & analytics — infrastructure, image storage/CDN, and privacy-conscious product analytics.

We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies & affiliate tracking

We use essential cookies (for sign-in and security) and limited analytics. Some links to retail partners in the Service are affiliate links: when you click one we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate networks may set their own cookies to attribute purchases; those are governed by the relevant network's privacy policy.

Your rights

Depending on your location (including the EEA and UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@styld.app. You may also delete your account, which removes your associated content.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and delete or anonymize it thereafter, except where longer retention is required by law.

Security & international transfers

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Your data may be processed in countries outside your own; where required, we rely on appropriate transfer safeguards.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
